BadgerSoft ("we", "us", "our") develops Essential Intranet Web Parts for Microsoft 365 — a collection of SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web parts available on Microsoft AppSource.

How Our Web Parts Handle Data
Our SPFx web parts run entirely within your Microsoft 365 tenant. This means:
- All data stays within your SharePoint environment
- BadgerSoft does not store any customer data on its own servers
- No cookies are placed by the web parts
- License validation uses the Microsoft Graph API (usageRights) — this is a Microsoft API call within your tenant, no data is sent to BadgerSoft
Marketplace & Purchase Data
When you purchase a subscription via Microsoft AppSource, BadgerSoft receives subscription information (tenant ID, selected plan, number of users) through the Microsoft Marketplace Fulfillment API. This data is used solely for license activation and management.
Landing Page
The post-purchase landing page (hosted as an Azure Function) processes a one-time token from Microsoft to activate your subscription. No personal data is stored during this process.
Support Requests
If you contact us via email for support, we process your name and email address solely for the purpose of handling your request. This data is not used for any other purpose.
Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access any personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
